As part of the district’s 10 year growth plan the current 60 year old Fire Station 21 Headquarters was identified for replacement with a new state of the art facility to improve response times, and expend staffing levels to accommodate the increased calls for service. The 20,000 sf replacement facility includes fire department HQ and administrative facilities, 3 apparatus bays, and related support functions, storm shelter, and 7 sleeping rooms and living facilities for fire and emergency operations personnel.
