River Forest, Illinois
The project consists of interior and exterior building renovations and immediate exterior terrace renovations of an existing two story 4,600 s.f. structure, built in the 1930s, that was originally constructed as a concession building, shelter and comfort station for the adjacent picnic area. The intent of the project is to update the facility to meet current codes, to address deferred maintenance items, and expand the programming to include a meeting space and a catering kitchen with supporting restrooms.
